FinancePulse, operated by Northvane LLC, takes a minimal-data approach. We collect only what we need to deliver products, support customers, and run the business. This policy explains what that means in practice.
1. What we collect
- Email address. When you order a report, sign up for the newsletter, join a waitlist, or contact support.
- Order details. The ticker, watchlist, or sector you submitted; the price you paid; the Stripe session and payment IDs. Required to deliver your report.
- Stripe payment data. Processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number, CVV, or full billing address. Statement descriptor: AIBUILDWRIGHT*FINPULSE.
- Website telemetry. Anonymous usage analytics via PostHog (page views, button clicks). No cross-site tracking.
- Server logs. Standard web server logs (IP, user-agent, timestamp). Retained 30 days for diagnostics, then deleted.
2. How we use it
- To deliver the product you ordered.
- To send you the report PDF, refund notifications, and operational email.
- To send the daily/weekly newsletter if you signed up for it.
- To respond to support requests.
- To improve product quality (signal accuracy, report layout, performance).
3. What we don't do
- We don’t sell your data to anyone, ever.
- We don’t share your watchlist or order history with third parties.
- We don’t use your purchase history to target ads.
- We don’t track you across other websites.
4. Third-party processors
We rely on a handful of services to operate FinancePulse:
- Stripe - payment processing. See stripe.com/privacy.
- Resend - transactional email delivery.
- Supabase - database and storage for orders.
- Vercel - site hosting.
- PostHog - anonymous product analytics.
5. Your rights
You may request access to your personal data, correction, or deletion at any time. Email support@financepulse.appand we’ll handle it within 30 days. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe via the link in any email.
6. Data retention
- Order records - retained for tax and audit purposes (typically 7 years).
- Newsletter subscriptions - until you unsubscribe.
- Server logs - 30 days.
- Support correspondence - retained while reasonably useful for support.
7. Cookies
We use cookies only for essential functionality (session management) and anonymous analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
8. Children
FinancePulse is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. Changes
Material changes to this policy are announced via email to active customers and on the website. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change.
